Centralised court system – does it work?
One member of the Civil Courts Users Association has said that “one aspect of moving to a centralised service is that problems become apparent much more quickly”. But we see that one of the biggest problems is the delay in processing claims and the follow-up paper work.
Unhappy with the Court?
Communicating with a court can be onerous and almost impossible, but improvements are on the way, or so we’re told!!!!
Salford Business Centre
All claims are now being processed in Salford by the Business Centre, and the current general conception is that the service was poor when it commenced in Salford and has since deteriorated. The court staff, when you manage to speak to them are as helpful as possible, but their knowledge is extremely limited.
Court action – would you use it?
Most users feel that if there was another way to initiate a legal collection process other than court action, they would use it, but alas, we are stuck with this system and hope that it improves We are told, “change is inevitable”, let us hope so.
