Dear Stanley,
I would like to place on record, my and my sons thanks for your prompt help in resolving the potentially disastrous effects of someone stealing his identity. The effect on his credit rating was pretty disastrous, but things are now being sorted out and the perpetrators are currently being pursued by the Credit Control Departments of the companies that were defrauded.
We have also put in place your suggestions to make it more difficult for someone to do this again, so that when James returns from his sojourn in the United States, his credit rating will be in a reasonable state.
