As previously stated, we act for several Insolvency Practitioners in collecting the book debts of companies that have been placed into liquidation or administration or a CVA (Company Voluntary Arrangement) and one of such companies are owed several thousands of pounds by various departments of many Borough Councils. One of these Councils acknowledged that monies were owed and yet after much correspondence have not paid the agreed sum. We were invited to “take the legal route” which we have done and consequently a debt of £4,738 totalled £6,496 after interest and court fee was added.
